Oluwatosin Folorunsho qualified as a Medical Doctor in 2006 from University of Ilorin, Nigeria and completed his Master’s degree in Public Health at the prestigious University of Glasgow, Scotland in 2008.
He worked in Northern Ireland and Wales in different specialities including General surgery, Urology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics for some years before moving down to Dorset in 2012.
He was a Registrar in Orthopaedics at Dorset County Hospital for 5years where he honed his skills, knowledge and experience in Musculoskeletal conditions and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2015.
In 2017, Dr Folorunsho developed profound interest in General Practice and went on to train in Wessex VTS as a GP.
Dr Folorunsho joined Ammonite Health Partnership as a Partner in July 2021. He is currently our Safeguarding Lead.
His life outside work is mainly centred around his wife and children, playing/watching football and keeping fit to maintain a good positive work-life balance.
