Covid-19 Vaccination

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

Over a quarter of a million local people have received a COVID-19 vaccine in Dorset. Since the first vaccination was delivered at Dorset County Hospital in December 2020 more than 275,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to people in the BCP Council and Dorset Council areas. New national figures released recently show that 275,006 of doses have been given – with over quarter of a million local residents receiving at least one dose. There are over 20 sites delivering vaccines across the Dorset Council and BCP Council area. In addition, as part of the roll-out of the programme, local partners are working alongside each other to deliver pop-up clinics at local mosques.
